We are compiling all the information you need to find places to explore in the South Gloucestershire area.
We have an interactive mapping system on this site, showing all the Public Rights of Way you can walk, run, horse ride, cycle or otherwise explore in the South Gloucestershire area. You can use this mapping to plan routes, look at pictures taken along the paths, or report problems you come across.
If you want some help with places to explore, then we've got some suggested walks you may wish to check out in this section.
Please note that maps on this website are not a legal record of public rights of way and have not been fully checked for accuracy. If you have a query about the status of any path please contact the Public Rights of Way team.
One of our most exciting plans is to compile reliable prepared routes for you to follow yourself. Not just those prepared by the South Glos team, but bringing together the routes many other organisations in the area have produced, to have them in one place for you to find them. For a selection to start with we have published some easy access routes to explore.
Please note that maps on this website are not a legal record of public rights of way. The maps are provided to assist with recreational use only and must not be relied upon in relation to the purchase, sale or development of land or in relation to legal disputes. The routes shown on the mapping have not been fully checked for accuracy or suitability unless clearly stated otherwise. Use of the routes is at your own risk.
If you find any problems on any of these routes, it is very helpful if you can report this to us using our interactive map. Please note you will need to register/log in before reporting an issue - thank you!
